HURRICANE RELIEF BENEFIT

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8TH, 2017 FROM 1 PM TO 5 PM –
LOCATION:  AMERICAN LEGION PAVILION
 3615 HAYES AVENUE, SANDUSKY, OHIO
$10.00 PER ADULT/$5.00 FOR KIDS 10 AND UNDER
 INCLUDES: HAMBURGERS, HOT DOGS, CORN & FIXIN’S, RAFFLE’S & 50/50’S,
CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT – WEATHER PERMITTING)
ALSO THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 1ST – 7TH
ALL THREE POST’S WILL BE COLLECTING ITEMS
INCLUDING WATER, CLEANING SUPPLIES, & NON PERISHABLE ITEMS THAT CAN BE DROPPED OFF AT EACH POST AND THEN COMBINED AND SHIPPED TO WHERE THE ITEMS ARE NEEDED MOST!
ITEMS CAN ALSO BE DROPPED OFF THE DAY OF THE BENEFIT AT THE AMERICAN LEGION.
 

LAST MAN’S DINNER - FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13TH - You must be a Life Member & Spouses are allowed.  There will be a sign up sheet at the drawing table.  Dinner Choices will be Open Face Beef or Open Face Chicken w/ Mashed Potatoes & Gravy & Side Salad.  Please sign up if you plan to attend.  Cocktails at 5:30 pm and Dinner at 6:00 pm.  The Dinners will be ½ price.

KID’S HALLOWEEN PARTY will be held on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 @ Noon.  Sign Up Sheet is at the Drawing Table.

STEIN HOSPICE WING FOR WARRIORS BENEFIT TO SUPPORT VETERANS – Being held at AMVETS POST #17 on Sunday, November 19th, 2017 from Noon to 4 pm.  Open To The Public, Tickets are $20.00 each and include All-U-Can-Eat Wings & Beverages.  All Veterans will be Recognized, Honored and Pinned.  Sponsored by “The Big Three” AMVETS POST #17, AMERICAN LEGION POST 83, AND VFW POST 2529.  You can purchase tickets online at STEINHOSPICE.ORG, by calling (419) 625-5269, or at any of the Posts. 

To Anyone that has bought a Key Card for $10.00, but can no longer use the card for any reason.  You can make arrangements with Carolyn Thomsen to return the card and get a refund on your $10.00.

If you are planning to have a Party of 8 or more to come in for Dinner during the week, we would greatly appreciate if you would call in to make a reservation to guarantee we have adequate staffing!!!
 

****SON’S NEWS & EVENTS****


4TH ANNUAL OCTOBERFEST – SUNDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2017 FROM NOON – 5:00 PM, FEATURING ED KLIMCZAK FAMILY BAND FROM 1:00 PM TO 5:00 PM, DINNER’S WILL BE AVAIALBLE FOR PURCHASE INCLUDING GERMAN CUISINE, PEROGIE’S, BRATWURST, AND MORE.  THERE WILL BE 50/50’S AND RAFFLES.  OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.  **Son’s are also raffling off a Chest Freezer along with a $150.00 Gift Certificate for their Octoberfest and tickets are 1 for $1.00 or 6 for $5.00 and they can be purchased at the Bar or from a Son’s Officer.**


***AUXILIARY NEWS & EVENTS****


The Auxiliary will be having the Annual Holiday Craft Show at the Post on Sunday, November 5th, 2017 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Admission is $1.00 which includes a door prize ticket.  They are offering 6’ x 3’ Tables for $12.00 with electric and $10.00 w/out Electric.  There will be a Bake Sale, 50/50’s, and Door Prizes.  Food and Beverages will be available for purchase. We are currently taking dues for 2018 and they are $35.00 and your receipt would be your temporary proof of membership until cards go out in October.
